EIF CIP counter-guarantee deal with Polski Fundusz Gwarancijny

EIF has signed a counter-guarantee deal with Polski Fundusz Gwarancijny (PFG), the second transaction with a Polish guarantee scheme following several contracts with commercial banks. PFG will use the CIP guarantee to strengthen its own guarantee offer benefiting Polish businesses, start-ups and companies with innovative projects. PFG will reduce its collateral requirements and accept younger companies than it is normally serving. The transaction creates a new portfolio of PFG guarantees worth up to PLN 42m (EUR 10m).
